Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents and Adults
I am an integrative psychotherapist, whose approach is to collaboratively meet your needs during our therapy sessions. I work creatively to help you access a deeper understanding of what you are working through. I offer short term and long term therapy to children, adolescents and adults.
About me
Hi, I’m Rachel.
I’m an integrative psychotherapist, which means I use a mixture of techniques and draw from various schools of psychotherapy. We can work together short term or long term.
I am a trauma informed psychotherapist and offer a safe space to explore all aspects of your life. This may include looking into your past and how this might be impacting your current life.
I have over fifteen years experience working in the field of mental health. This includes working for a charity which supported adults with a psychiatric diagnosis, being part of safeguarding teams in schools and running an inclusion service for vulnerable young people.
Young people and families
As a child and adolescent psychotherapist I can offer individual sessions to children and teenagers ages 5-18. I also work in schools; primary, secondary and SEMH (special educational mental health) provisions. I work with children from all backgrounds. This includes children/adolescents with a recognised neurological condition, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
I work with parents and children together. This is a specific type of therapy to offer a space to understand each other and explore the dynamics of the relationship. This can be to all parents including, birth, foster and adoptive parents.
Supporting adults
In my work with adults, I offer sessions for individuals who are experiencing symptoms of trauma. A human’s response to trauma can be varied. If you have any questions regarding this type of therapy, please reach out.
I also offer therapy to anyone experiencing symptoms and feelings you might want to explore regarding your wellbeing and mental health. This may include feelings of depression, anxiety, general low mood and grief.
I am UKCP registered member and I work in accordance with their ethics, policies and procedures. I hold an enhanced DBS check.
Fees:
£75 for individual sessions (children, adolescents and adults)
£65 for students, trainee therapists and NHS staff.
£90 for parent and child sessions.
